Vocabulary for the search

Recognize the theme vocabulary before scanning the grid. Examples include egg, rabbit, basket, flower, ribbon, chick. Follow the activity’s own list; these examples are conversation starters, not an inventory of every sheet.

After the activity

Design two eggs using the same pattern in a different order and explain what changes. Play with decorated eggs, rabbits and other Easter motifs while distinguishing the visual theme from different traditions.

Use a search method

Find a word’s first letter and check its next letter before following the whole sequence. Mark from the first letter to the last and cross the entry off the list. Words can share letters: finding one does not remove those cells from other searches.
