Easy printable sudoku
Look for rows, columns or boxes with many given digits. If a row contains 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8, its empty cell must be 9; also check that 9 fits its column and box.

Medium printable sudoku
Note candidates in an area with no immediate answer. If a cell allows {2, 7} and its column already contains 7, only 2 remains.

How to solve sudoku
In classic sudoku, each cell belongs to a row, a column and a 3 × 3 box. Place digits 1–9 exactly once in each unit.
Three checks for every cell
A classic 9 × 9 sudoku uses the digits 1 through 9. Every row, column and 3 × 3 box must contain each digit once. The digits act as symbols; you do not add up rows. Smaller variants use the set shown for their grid.
Write only what you can justify
Compare the row, column and box before entering a digit. If several options remain, note them as small candidates and return later. An entry is confirmed by the board’s rules, not by making a row look neatly ordered.
