Do not mix identical pairs and numeral–quantity matches without explaining the difference. Use a familiar range and check that each quantity has a corresponding card.
Two cards each turn
Turn over two cards so everyone can see them. Keep a matching pair; otherwise return both cards to the same positions. Agree whether finding a pair grants another turn. Start with a small set and add more pairs for a later game.
