Check line spacing against your handwriting. Narrow ruling fits more text but leaves less room for ascenders and descenders.
Preserve scale when it matters
If you will measure on the sheet, print at 100% or actual size and check a distance with a ruler. “Fit to page” can change the spacing. For free writing, choose a line size that gives you comfortable room.
