Find the entrance and exit, then follow a short stretch before marking it. At each junction, look for a branch that ends quickly. Working in stages helps distinguish a dead end from a continuing passage.
Check that the passages are wide enough to follow clearly. Ease depends on junctions and route visibility, not simply on a small drawing.
If you reach a dead end, return to the last junction and try another branch. A pencil lets you correct your route without obscuring the passages. When finished, follow your line from start to finish to check that it does not jump over a wall.
