Paper house: an assembly trial template
A paper house template with four connected walls, two gables, glue tabs and a separate roof. The door and windows are drawn on; there is no floor. Physical assembly testing is still pending.

What do you need?
- One sheet of A4 or US Letter paper, preferably sturdy and suitable for your printer
- Printer
- Scissors used with adult help
- Glue stick
- Ruler for folding
How to do this activity
- Print at 100% scale and check that the entire wall strip and roof are visible.
- With adult help, cut around the walls and tabs. Leave the drawn door and windows intact.
- Cut out the roof rectangle and fold along the central dashed line.
- Fold the walls and tabs along the dashed lines. Try fitting the pieces before gluing.
- Glue the side tab behind the opposite end to close the four walls.
- Fit the roof over the gables and glue the tabs underneath. Allow to dry. An adult should test this version before preparing multiple copies.

Ages are a guide. Intermediate difficulty reflects the tabs, folds and two-part assembly. The geometry has been checked digitally but has not been physically printed or assembled. Successful assembly has not yet been verified.
